Steve Schorr Elementary School is initiating a Read for Change Community Project with the goal of promoting both students’ reading achievement, along with school and community development. Students read a book of their choice and take an online comprehension quiz administered by the Renaissance Learning Accelerated Reader (AR) program. The school will keep 75% to purchase books and teaching materials, and 25% of funds raised will be donated to Title 1 Hope, to help homeless students.
